Now Playing: Spec Commercial | Teddy Grahams - Grab A Handful

We're releasing the final ad from this spec ad effort, and it's for Teddy Grahams! If you've not tried them before, I can highly recommend. They're solid.

This ad's a little different from the previous three as we incorporated stop motion animation into the fray. I "animated" these bears myself and Jeremy at Selluloid was able to help bring everything to life in a slick way.

To be honest, the original idea began as a flower and was more Spring themed. However, on the day, I decided to make a heart shape instead as it was more manageable in my head that way.

In fact, the second the shape of the Teddy Grahams changed to a heart, a lot of things changed for this ad. The warmer message was more general in my mind and aimed towards family audiences. So we leaned that way with a chalkboard background / text message and music all orbiting that aesthetic.

The bump of the single Teddy Graham was a fun thing we came up with on the fly as we needed something to fill the gap left by the spill effect not happening. It unfortunately ended up looking not great on the day we attempted it.
